Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 9/1/2025

Welcome to the Metropolitan Underwriting Discussion Group (“MUD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website [www.mudgroup.org] (the “Site”) and registering for any MUD events, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site or register for events.

  1. Use of Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use of the Site.

  2. Eligibility
The Site and MUD events are intended for professionals in the insurance industry. By using the Site or registering for events, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into these Terms.

  3. Event Registration and Ticket Purchases
3.1 Registration Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering for events. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities under your account.
3.2 Payment Processing: All ticket purchases are processed via Stripe. By purchasing tickets, you authorize the use of your payment information for the transaction.
3.3 Ticket Terms: Tickets are non-transferable unless expressly permitted by MUD. Tickets may only be used by the individual named on the registration.
3.4 Refunds and Cancellations: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a registration refund as we are within the 30-day window of our event and incurred expenses based on our expected attendance. If you would like to replace this registration with another attendee, we are happy to accommodate that request or apply for a credit for our next annual conference. Please email mud@mudgroup.org

  1. Event Participation
4.1 Assumption of Risk: Participation in MUD events is voluntary. You acknowledge that attendance may involve certain risks, including travel or exposure to illness, and you assume all such risks.
4.2 Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. MUD reserves the right to deny access or remove participants who violate these standards.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MUD or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. No right, title, or interest in any Content is transferred to you.

  4. Third-Party Services
We may provide links to third-party websites or services. MUD does not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, or services. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
